My design journey began at York University and Sheridan College, where I built a strong foundation across typography, editorial systems, interaction, and animation. Those years grounded me in the fundamentals of craft — a foundation that continues to shape how I approach problems today.
What drew me to design is that it never stands still — every product, feature, and idea is one iteration away from being better. As a natural perfectionist, this mindset has driven me to iterate thoughtfully, improve continuously, and approach each problem with care.
Most recently, I led design at Square for the Canadian market, working across any surface area the market needed — from restaurant features and taxes to international onboarding and checkout. Because our team didn't focus on a single product area, every project required quickly building new context and collaborating across teams. This environment made me adept at ramping up fast, navigating complexity, and bringing clarity to challenging problem spaces.
I'm a hobbyist at heart — I'm always learning something new, experimenting outside my comfort zone, and following wherever curiosity pulls me next.

My approach to design is grounded in craft, empathy and strategy. I focus on creating clarity in ambiguity — shaping roadmaps, making thoughtful trade-offs, and defining north stars that push beyond a project's immediate scope. I believe design works best as a team sport, bringing cross-functional partners together early to align on problems and ground decisions in real user insight.
